Kindle Highlights

So one of the great things about the Kindle is that Amazon can see what books and how often passages are "highlighted". Some might be put off by the "big brother" aspect of this, but I think it is fascinating.

In case you are interested here is the most highlighted passages of all time and the most highlighted books of all time.

And for you Bible junkies, here are the popular highlights in the Bible.

I am sure it goes without saying, but this is only those that have been highlighted on the Kindle.

Popular Google suggestions for the Bible

When you type in Google the beginning of a question Google will automatically give you a drop down menu selection of common searches beginning with what you have typed. As such someone has created a program that will visually show these results when you type in two questions.

Below in the link, you can see what happens when you type into Google "The Bible is" and "The Bible is not".

Please note, the larger the word the more popular that statement is (so for instance the most popular search for either "the Bible is" or "the Bible is not" is "true".)

Interesting to say the least. It is a view of the collective 'group think' around the world that uses Google.

Feel free to try this out yourself with your own queries and statements.
