What percentage are you?
In case you missed the whole Occupy Movement, in a nutshell it was raising up the economic disparity in America. The chasm is great between the have and the have nots. As such, here is a little tool to help you see perhaps where you might fall into the income percentage in your area of the United States.
I am not sure if you are supposed to do your before tax income (I think that is the intention of this tool), but you can do your post tax income if you would like.

Depending on running W2 income or what my taxable income is, or my total income, I am somewhere between the top 40% and the bottom 24%. So that is the range I guess.
I will say that for a family of 4 we are very close to the poverty line as determined by the US Government.
Interestingly, enough the poverty line in the US for a family of 4, is almost identical to the bottom income for the world's wealthiest 1%. Therefore, if you are NOT below the poverty level in the US, you ARE the 1%...
